How to use SOTApics as an Activator

To upload photos and videos during your SOTA activation, we use a Telegram bot. It's fast, simple, and works from your mobile device directly on the summit.

1. Open Telegram and search for @SOTApicsBot, or click the button below.
2. Send /callsign YOURCALL to register your callsign (e.g., /callsign EA3GNU).
3. Start an activation with /ref SOTA_REF (e.g., /ref EA3/BC-001).
4. Send one or more photos or videos. You can also add captions.
5. Once you're finished, send /ref NEW_SOTA_REF (e.g., /ref EA3/GI-010) to close the current activation and start another.

The photos you send will instantly appear on the SOTApics website in real time.
